Bank bonuses without a payroll direct-deposit requirement.

Some public business checking promotions use new-money deposits, maintained balances, and qualifying transactions instead of payroll. That removes one constraint but can tie up more cash.

What “without direct deposit” does not mean

It does not mean “no work” or “no funding.” Confirm the required new-money amount, the deposit deadline, the minimum holding period, required transactions, account fees, and new-customer rules.

When this structure may fit

It may suit a business that has idle operating cash but cannot reroute payroll. It may not suit a business that needs the deposited cash for near-term expenses or would incur fees while waiting for the bonus.

Offer availability and qualification remain subject to the institution’s current terms.
